Dillightful Chicken Wings
Crisp smoked wings tossed in sticky Dillightful sauce.
Ingredients
- 3 lb chicken wings, split
- 1 tbsp aluminum-free baking powder
- 2 tbsp BBQ rub
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- 1 cup Dillightful BBQ Sauce
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp dill pickle juice
- Ranch or blue cheese dressing

Pat the wings extremely dry. Toss with baking powder, rub, garlic and salt; refrigerate uncovered 2–8 hours for crisper skin.

Heat the smoker to 275°F. Arrange wings in one layer and smoke for 45 minutes, turning once.

Raise the cooker to 400°F or move the wings to direct heat. Cook 15–25 minutes, turning often, until crisp and at least 175°F near the bone.

Warm the sauce with butter and pickle juice. Toss the hot wings until evenly coated.

Return to the grill for 3–5 minutes to set the glaze. Serve immediately with dressing and pickles.
